The Grave Teaser Excerpt
A Dark Angel
Ted Lovett did not know, of course, that last morning when he awoke that he would be dead and buried by midnight. Who knows such things? Who knows anything, really, about what it means to die? Ted, although a smart guy and far from superficial, had not thought much about death. He wasn't that old---nineteen---and his interests dealt mainly with the real world: sun and fun; girls and school; the living and the breathing. Still, like everyone else on the planet---only decades premature---he would end up in a dark box in the damp ground, not moving, not knowing, a forgotten form---kept alive only in painful memories. Sadly, but perhaps fittingly, the love of his life would put him in his grave.
